Install Compiz on Kali Linux

To install Compiz you need to modify sources.list. This file is located in /etc/apt/ directory. Open sources.list in a leafpad editor or any other text editor and add these lines

## SID: to get compiz
deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ sid main non-free contrib

Now open root terminal window and type

apt-get update
apt-get -t sid install compiz

 you are done installing Compiz

    hmmm it doesnt work? i put it in sources and run apt-get update it says hit 1: hit 2: hit 3: reading database...... done
    then when i run apt-get -t sid install compiz it says that the package is not there
